I'm sorry about the lighting in the first one, it's not all that great! However I am really happy with both of these pictures - they're some of my best pictures to date. My art teacher's been really great with helping me - for years I've done straight, thick lines which has made it really hard to erase and make it look better. Now I've learnt that you should do lots of little lines that make it much easier to erase and edit, and it just looks all round better than what I was doing before. A lot better.
What are your methods for coping with revision stress? I have this.... And a very unhealthy chocolate addiction...

Thank you! Yeah I'm really happy with them :)
DeleteThese drawings are so cute! It's true, you have to draw little lines, but then that's a problem for me because I'm fairly good at pencil drawing but I can't draw with ink hahaha

Thank yoooouuuuu! Yeah my past drawings were really bad, but I've improved quite a bit :)
DeleteIt's SUCH a great idea to relieve stress with art. ;D I honestly...forget to when I'm stressed. I tend to just read. BUT I do love to zentangle and I have one of those adult-colouring-in-books that I really have done nothing with yet but I want to try eventually. :P Good job on your drawings! And I hope school calms down a bit for you soon? :( Being stressed is the woooorst.
ReplyDeleteYes! I feel like I don't do enough of it anyway :). And yeah, reading does help as well. I used to love zentangle, but I've kinda grown out of it over the past year and I do a little adult colouring in. Probably too little! Thank you, and I hope so too xx
DeleteOmg recently I have been eating soooo much cakes and chocolate. I also like to doodle and watch TV. The pressure of good grades are really frustrating sometimes. *sigh* keep doodling!

Ugh, I agree. I've eaten my body weight in chocolate trying to struggle through maths homework. And TV is way too addicting - ugh I need to turn it off! But hey, it is worth it in the end. Have fun, darl!
